Starter strips keep bugs out and allows ventilation into the rainscreen cavity, while saving labour and material costs. Our starter strips are based on a concept developed by siding installers to combine two important siding accessories—a lip edge for the starter course of siding (vinyl, fibre board, or wood siding) and perforations to create a bug screen for rainscreen cavities.
This innovative product not only serves a functional purpose, but it also saves the contractor labour costs, and material costs over the long term.
